Can you please clarify the halacha of making a bracha on a talit, when donned as a shaliach tzibur or other kavod.
Answer
The Beur Halacha in hilchot tzitzit writes that a Talit that belongs to the tzibur there are several opinions, therefore it is advisable not to say a bracha. On a Talit that is taken from a friend one says no blessing.
