Fish pills and milk
Question
We are Sephardim, and don’t eat fish and milk together.
Is it ok to take a fish oil pill (capsule) while eating a milky meal?
Answer
ב"ה
Shalom
The custom of Sephardim not to eat fish and milk together due to the fear of danger, is unlike the prohibition of eating meat and milk at the same meal. After one has fish, the most one is required is to eat or drink something in between the fish and the milk. So, assuming you have your fish oil pill with a glass of water, you may continue and have dairy.
