Question
We went to the supermarket, and wanted to buy some pieces of fresh salmon. The fish is kept near the meat section. After asking for fish, the worker who had jsut finishing cutting chicken cut our salmon, but without washing his hands. What is the status of the salmon in this case? Can we cook it for a milk meal, as it is fish, or due to his handling it after chicken, must we cook it in meat pots, and serve on meat plates?
Thank you.
Answer
Wash the fish off well in cold water before cooking it.
