Question
Hi,
I made a kugel that was cooked in the oven at the same time as chicken. I took a fork from the kugel and put it on table.
I then took the fork and placed it in a parve vegetable dish. It touched a bit of food, and the pot slightly.
What is the status of the parve food and parve pot?
Both were heated up on the Shabbat plata on Frida night, now on dinner table.
Thank you.
Answer
Shalom,
Thank you for your question. The minor touch of the fork to the vegetables does not transfer a meaty taste from the kugel to the parve dish – neither to the food nor the actual dish. So, the vegetables and the pot remain parve.
Blessings.
