Question
When we speak of eternal punishment for those who have no share in the world-to-come, is this punishment everlasting torture or the soul ultimately ceasing to exist?
Answer
The souls of those rare individual super-evil, usually simply cease to exist, but in even rarer cases, undergo eternal punishment.
