Question
After the Exodus which was first led by Moses, in which year did the children of Israel return to the land of Israel?
Answer
Shalom,
Thank you for your question. According to our tradition, the Jewish people left Egypt in the year 2448, counting from creation (we are presently (January 2015) in the year 5775). The crossing of the Jordan River, and entry into the land of Israel, was 40 years latter, in 2488.
Blessings.
