Question
Leviticus 23:43 says " in order that your [ensuing] generations should know that I had the children of Israel live in booths when I took them out of the land of Egypt. I am the Lord, your God."
In which year did God first have the children of Israel to live in booths? And in which year were all the children of Israel set foot out of the land of Egypt?
Answer
They lived in booths for the entire 40 years in the desert, which began when we left Egypt 3,327 years ago, in the year 2,448 from creation (today is the Jewish year of 5,775).
