Question
I am confused about this response. How are any of these statements consistent with what is practiced in Religious Zionist Yeshivot today? Where so many study Hassidut and Kabblah and focus on the inner meaning.
Answer
In the Responsa your follow-up question is referring to, I was asked about the approach of the Ashkenazi non-Chasidic Kabbalists. Naturally, that is what the answer contains. Obviously there are other approaches taken on these issues by others, such as the Sephardic Kabbalists, Chasidic movement and the non-Kabbalists. Perhaps the Yeshivot you are referring to take a different approach than the one reflected in the responsa.
