What is the significance of the 4 cups of wine at Passover?
Answer
The four cups of wine commemorate the four redemptions achieved in the exodus from Egypt referred to in Exodus 6 6: "I will bring you out... I will deliver you... I will redeem you... I will take you to me" (Breishit Rabah 88).
