Question
I am a senior and will be going to Poland on a march of the living type trip. As a part of the trip we will be visiting
Zbilatowska Gora, the children’s grave and I would like to say a psalm of tehilim while there. Is there a specific one you think is appropriate for the occasion?
Answer
Shalom, T’hilim ch. 83 sums up the holocaust, and many unfortunate events in Jewish history. See an English translation and you can see why it’s probably more applicable in this situation than regarding any other event in history. In addition, if possible, it would be appropriate to say all of the chapters customarily said in the cemetary. Have a meaningful trip!
