Mezuzah
Question
Hi,
Are we supposed to touch our mezuzah when we enter/exit every room in our house, or only when entering/exiting the home?
Answer

Rabbi Azarya Ariel shlit"a, in the Hebrew counterpart of this website deals with your question extensively.
I will just quote excerpts in short.
The Rema
( שולחן ערוך יורה דעה הלכות מזוזה סימן רפה סעיף ב) says that upon exiting or entering one's home one should place his hand on the Mezuza. It seems indeed that the main emphasis is upon entering or exiting the main door.
While it certainly would be virtuous for one to exhibit their cherishing of the Mitzvot, by placing their hand on every Mezuza in the home, there is no obligation to do so. (See
