Boorish and/or overtly rude person aliyah to the torah
Question
What is the halacha concerning calling up a boorish and/or rude person to the torah for an aliyah? What if that person is the only kohen present? What is the preferable course of action?
Answer
The answer to such questions is totally subjective, for each case is totally different! Only a local rabbi who has all of the details can rule on such an issue.
