Question
We are going away for Pesach and we wanted to leave the cat home. A (Jewish) friend would come every couple days to change the food and water - is that a problem if we are “selling” the apartment for Pesach?
Answer
Thank you for your question, Yes you may have your neighbor come in and change the food and water (See aruch Hashulchan 448,23) All the best

Rabbi Daniel Kirsch
