Om Symbol/ Sanskrit Symbols
Question
Is it permitted to display the Sanksrit symbol for Om (or other symbols) on jewelry or home decor?
Answer
As far as I was able to ascertain, the Om symbol in question has sacred and religious meaning, and coming from pagan religions, is accordingly prohibited. Similarly, I imagine such is the case with similar symbols, but theoretically, each one is suspect and must be checked out.
