Question
I dont understand the concept where it says Hashem does the will of those who fear Him (or did I type that wrong is that not what it says), what I dont understand is, if someone fears Hashem, wouldnt they be doing Hashems will and thus have no will of their own? So then why would they even say that statement in the first place?
Answer
Shalom,
Thank you for your question. The quote you mention comes from the Ethics of the Father’s (Pirkey Avot) chapter 2, Mishna 4. “He would say: Make His (G-d's) will like your will, so that He will make your will like His will. Nullify your will before His will, so that He will nullify the will of others before your will.”

If after learning these sources you are still troubled by what the Mishna means, I’d be more than happy to write to you again.
Blessings.
