Question
Shalom aleichem, Rebbe.
The big macher Elon Musk is creating a digital brain implant. This implant is surgically installed on top of the brain and while it may have some abilities to heal people that are in pain, it’s main goal is to connect our brains with our computers. It’s main consumer target market is the general public. Is it Kosher? What are your thoughts?
Imagine getting the free version, all the ads and commercials! Oy!
Answer
It's a little early to voice an opinion before all of the information is available, just in general, Judaism prefers not to do elective surgery unless necessary.
