Question
which works are you saying we shouldnt read? does this Not include things like the tanya, and the works from chassidic rebbes who came Before their most recent rebbe?
Answer
Shalom uvracha,
Rav Yaakov Ariel didn’t mean to say that you shouldn’t read Chabad works. (I know for a fact that Rav Yaakov Ariel learns the Lubavitcher Rebbe's books himself). What he meant to say is that you should not read the books that claim that the Rebbe is the Moshiach.
