Question
Is there a prayer for a newborn girl?
Answer
ב"ה
Shalom
First of all, Mazal tov.
The parents upon seeing the newborn girl for the first time , recite the blessing of "Shechianu". (Mishna Brura 223:2)
In addition, the common custom is that the father, goes to the Bet Knesset- synagogue on a day when there is Torah reading (some wait until Shabbat) and a special prayer of "Mi Sheberach"is said for the mother and the newborn and at this time the child is named.
It is also, customary that after the giving of the name, to offer some refreshments so that people can say Berachot and praise G-d in her merit.
If due to Corona restrictions, one cannot go the synagogue, one does not have to wait but simply call the newborn daughter by her name.
In Sephardi communities there is a special prayer, which is brought here below in Hebrew, since I am not familiar with any particular Siddur which contains this prayer. which I can refer you to.
If the girl is the firstborn, the following verse is added.
Then this prayer is said, filling the name of the child and the name of the mother of the child.
