Eisav’s Olam Haba
Question
Does Esav have a place in Olam Haba?
Answer
ב"ה
Shalom
Rashi on Bereshit (25:22) that there was a battle between Yakov and Esav in regard to whom will inherit the Olam Hazeh and Olam Haba. According to a Midrash
(מדרש אגדה (בובר) בראשית פרשת תולדות פרק כה פסוק כב סימן כב)
Esav forfeited his Olam Haba to Yakov. According to the Gemara in Baba Batra 16B, Esav denied the existence of Techiyat Hametim, which according to the Mishna in Sanhendrin 90A, is a transgression for which one loses his portion in the world to come.
