Whoever prays for his friend is answered first
Question
Amen thank you so much, what does it say about davening for others and you getting answered, where in the torah does it talk about that and why is that? is it bec we have compassion on others and Hashem has compassion on us?
Answer
Your explanation is very correct, that Hashem treats us as we treat others! The Talmud (Bava Kama 92) learns this from Iyov (Job 42, 10), “And Hashem returned the fortunes of Job, when he prayed for his friends, and even gave him twice as much, as he had before”.
