Question
Hi Rabbi,
Does one need to have a Minyan for Rosh Chodesh benching or can one say it alone?
Answer
Shalom,
The Mishna Brura (417,1) explains that the idea of benching Rosh Chodesh on the previous Shabbat is to remind us to observe it. Therefore, there is no need for a minyan and one can do it alone.
