Child of unmarried Kohen
Question
What is the status of a child born to a Kohen and a non jew who are not married? Is this child a mamzer?
Answer
Since the child is born to a non-Jewish mother, the child is merely not Jewish and therefore Halachically restricted in any case from marrying a Jew.
