Hair covering for women
Question
What is the law and sources regarding how much hair a married women has to cover?
Thanks
Answer
Shalom U'verachah,
The Mishnah and Gemara in Ketubot discuss the concept and amount that a woman must cover her hair. Later the halachah discusses that a woman must cover all her hair but may leave a tefach uncovered if that is the norm in her society.
