Question
Is it okay to use ways of preventing pregnancy in Judaism?
Answer
It is the wrong thing to do according to Jewish law and values, if it is done for no good reason, or only for the sake of comfort.
It is a great Mitzvah to have children and bring more servants of Hashem to the world.
If it is necessary for very important reasons such as health reasons to prevent pregnancy, it should be discussed in detail with a Rabbi who is a great authority in Jewish law, who will give exact guidance if, how, and for how long it should be done.
