Biting nails on Shabbat
Question
I understand that it is against the halacha to bite nails on shabbat or take off skin. I want to do the right thing but it is such an ingrained habit and hard to stop. What should I do?
Answer
Drugstores have special products to stop thumb sucking or nail biting that have an unpleasant taste, and by putting some of it on your nails it should solve the problem.
