Shalom, How can I clean my Tallit? Can I put it into the washing machine? thanks

There isn't any prohibition to clean a Tallit or a Tzitzit. However, if you stick it in to the washing machine the Tzitzyot- strigs might unravel. If you put the Tallit in a special net and than in to the washing machine it might solve the problem. another suggestion would be to simply hand wash the Tallit or have it dry cleaned.
