Rainbow
Question
Hello Rabbi, I was told the rainbow was G-d showing Noah to always "questions" and water in hebrew means questions and light means knowledge, the two components the make a rainbow. is this true? if so where can i find research? Thanks you very much, Brendan
Answer
Water in Hebrew means water and light means light.
It might be that in kabalistic writings the water represents questions and light represents knowledge, I however have no recollection of such commentary but that may be since I am not a competent kabalist.
