Ashkenazi or Sephardic Tefillin
Question
Please recommend moderately priced tefillin for a bar mitzvah boy. The mother is ashkenaz, the father is sephardic. Which type?
Also can you recommend a store in Miami-Dade Broward, where we the grandparents are living.
The bar mitzvah to be held in a modern orthodox ashkenazi synagogue in Montreal
thank you
Answer
Mazal Tov!
You should get your grandchild Sepharadic Tefilin since we all follow our Father's costums.
You should ask your local Rabbi about a good place to buy a decent Kosher pair of Tefillin.
May you have a lot of Nachat from the Bar Mitzva boy.
