Question
I cover the food on the Plata on Erev Shabbat and Shabbat so the food will hold the warmth someone told me that you can only cover the Plata on Erev Shabbat not on Shabbat.
Is this a Chumra or a Halacha?
Answer
There are methods whereby this can be done- specifically by placing a board of some type on the pots of food, and then draping the towel over the board.
