Question
My wife is pregnant and wants to go to the nail salon to get her finger and toenails done. I know that in these places there is a lot of cut finger and toe nails on the floor. I heard that it is not good for pregnant women to walk over cut nails. Can you clarify this topic. Would it be ok for her to go there or should she not?
Answer
It is a cause for concern. She should schedule her appt for the first one of the day—they swept and washed the floors carefully the night before.
