Question
I sat at my desk during the day and tend to snack on fruit/vegetables beween meals. If I do Ha’adoma or Ha’atze, then eat my fruit or vegetable. Then how long is the Bracha good for? If I eat a carrot 5 minutes later do I need to redo the Bracha?
Answer
It depends on whether you decided to finish your snack. To avoid any problems, it is usually best to recite borei nefashos immediately when one snack is finished.
