I am a kohan in my synagouge and for a long time i have wanted to get an ear piercing. I have asked my father and he says as long as i can still duchan with the kohanim in my synagouge. So i just wanted to know if i can get the lobe of my ear pierced and still be able to do the duties of the kohanim?

If the pierced ear draws attention then it will stop your ability to duchan. Otherwise you can still duchan. Rabbi Yitzchak Grinblat
