Shalom, There are a number of different principles to be taken into account when answering questions on contraception, there is the obligation to bear children, there is the prohibition against wasting seed etc. Since these are complex issues one needs a personal Rabbi who knows the couple's situation and desires in order to navigate through these questions to arrive at an answer that is relevant and specific to each couple.
