Question
Is one allowed to open bottle caps that are made of metal on Shabbat? If not, when can one be lenient?
Answer
There is dispute amongst the Poskim on this matter therefore one should either open before Shabbat or damage the cap and than there is no problem in opening the cap on Shabbat.
