Question
Megilas Tainis at the end of the third chapter mentions that the greeks put wreaths of roses on their houses of idol worship, their stores and in their courtyards. Do you know any sources/reasons why they did this? What was supposed to be the effect on the Jews. Why was it so important that the M.T. mentions it?
