What is the latest that you can wash for Shalos Seudas on Shabbos afternoon?
Answer
One should finish saying “Hamotzi” before sunset even if he can’t finish his “Kazayit” of bread before the sun sets.
Even though there are opinions that one can wash before the stars appear – this is not an opinion recommended to follow. (SHmirat Shabbat Kehilchata 2, pp 204-205)
