Pots used by a non Jew
Question
A friend of mine came to my house spend few days and she cooked a potato soup with carrots, onions and garlic while I was out.
At night, when I was cooking dinner she told me she had used the stove (ceramic top). I have now to kosherize the pot she used, but do I have to kosherize the stove too? If yes, how? Do I have to kosherize the pots and cutlery I used to cook dinner as well?
Answer
The pots and cutlery she used have to be Kashered (i.e. immersed in boiling bubbling water) the stove is fine as it is (no need to Kasher it.) Therefore all your cooking and dishes are fine.
