Question
Would someone who in their regular life actively participates in amateur musical and theatre rehearsals and performances (as performer not audience) be allowed to do so during the year-long mourning period for a parent?
Answer
If it is necessary for his Parnasa, then he may continue. If it is for pleasure then he should refrain.
