Survey Camera on Shabbat
Question
Can one use a camera to survey the entrances of a synagogue during Shabbat in a town where there is no real danger?
Answer
When there is no danger – it should not be done, however danger is defined by specialists in the security field; something may look unnecessary for you but the experts may think otherwise.
If it is for security purposes it can be used.
