Prayers without a Minyan
Question
I live in Taipei, Taiwan and we don’t have a minyan on Shabbat . The prayers in our shul are conducted only on Shabbat, so during the week I always pray by myself. Since this is the case, are there any parts of the prayers that I should miss out when on my own (e.g. kaddish)? or not in a minyan?
Answer
The following parts of Tefilah are only recited with a Minyan:
Kaddish, Barchu, Repitition of Amidah and Kedusha, Birkat Kohanim, Torah reading (you should read the weekly portion from a printed text but without the blessings of the Torah)
