- Cohen's Marriage
Marrying a cohen and not having children
Question
Is there still a restriction on marrying a Cohen if I am past child-bearing age and therefore there would be no children from this marriage.
I had an unfortunate evening with a non-Jew prior to my becoming Observant and therefore always considered a Cohen not an option.
I have never been married.
Answer
A woman that had relations with a non-Jew can't marry a Cohen even though she is menopausal.
