Question
Hi.
I want to know how many centimeters have to be between a man and his wife while sleeping. Is it necessary to sleep in different beds or is a really broad bed o.k. if the space between both is kept? And in a night when one has intercourse with his wife is it o.k. to fall asleep together?
Please excuse my english...
Nice time
Answer
Shalom U'verachah,
When a woman is niddah the couple must sleep in separate beds that should be separate enough that the couple could not touch each other, around 40-50 cm.
After intercourse a couple can sleep in the same bed and this is also allowed the whole time that a woman is tehorah even if they do not intend to have intercourse.
