Mikveh on Friday
Question
It is my understanding that men go to the Mikveh on Fridays.
Is it permissable for a woman to do the same?
Answer
Shalom U'veracha,
There is no obligation for men to go to the Mikveh on Fridays. There are some people who have this custom, but it is not an obligation, and is only for married men.
Married women are obliged to go to the Mikveh according to halachah, after her period in order to reassume being with her husband. But she should not go on other occasions. Non-married women never go to the Mikveh.
