Please assist me with this quesion which is mine to answer at the Seder table. What are the differences and similarities between Pesach and Yom Kippur?
Answer
The similarities: The penalty for eating (food / Chametz) is Karret. Both depend on the Hebrew calendar Differences: Melachah (Halachic "labor") is prohibited on Yom Kippur like Shabbat and for Pesach like Yom Tov.
