Are the Days of Peleg the actual dividing of the Earth, as archeologists suggest, or is it the dividing of the people at Babel?
Answer
I don't know.
The commentators on this Pasuk don't seem to hold that view.
Rashi (Bereshit 10; 25) refers to the splitting of the different languages; the Chezkuni ibid refers to the fact the life span of mankind has decreased from 400 to 200 years in average.
