Question
If the name (also the spirit?) of Mashiach was created before the world and mankind, doesnโ€™t it stand to reason that Mashiach, though flesh and blood, is more than an ordinary human?
Answer
The issue of whether the Mashiach is a person who has miraculous powers or not is a longstanding dispute (between Ra'avad and Maimonides). I do not understand why HaShem could not prepare the name of a man who has no miraculous powers before creating the world.
