Life changing prayer...?
Question
Is there a particular prayer said after a near death, life changing experience?
Answer
If one was saved from death being in a life threatening situation – the Bracha of HaGomel should be recited, thanking Hashem for the good he bestows upon us. (Shulchan Aruch OC 219)
In any event thanking Hashem and praying is recommended in all times.
Note that Hashem understands all languages and one does not need to find Hebrew texts he can't understand, to read, in order to establish a connection with Hashem.
