It is known for Teimani jews to have a tradition regarding locust and it’s Kashrut, alloowing them to eat it. Can one who does not have such a tradition rely on theirs?

Generally, one can rely upon others traditions, if the tradition is continuous and held by Talmidei Chachamim. These jews have been in Israel for over 50 years.
