Question
May a woman act as a Mashgiach?
Answer
This questions demands a much longer answer than can be given here. Certainly a woman is trusted concerning Kashrut and may testify to the Kashrut of foods. She may be part of a system of Kashrut control. Whether she may act as an independent Mashgiach will depend on several circumstances and the degree of work involved. A Rabbi would have to be consulted in each case.
