I would like to know what Pulsa D´nura is. I read in a newspaper that Ariel Sharon was threatened by a Rabbi with a ceremony called Pulsa D´nura.
Answer
A Pulsa D'nura (literally, lashes of fire) is a strong Rabbinic curse, essentially a declaration of the death penalty. To the best of my knowledge, no serious Rabbinic authority has suggested actual implementation of such a curse on Mr Sharon.
